About Us
We provide charitable funds to Musgrave Park Hospital for the enhancement of facilities and clinical care for patients. Since incorporation, the charity has provided equipment, buildings and other enhancements in excess of £10 million.
How we have helped Musgrave Park Hospital
A few of the projects we have funded include:
- Bursary grants for medical consultants and research fellows
- Purchase of medical equipment, including MRI scanners
- Funding towards building medical facilities and units
- Purchase of analyst equipment for sports medicine
- Funding towards the Horatio’s Garden build in the SCIU
- Funding of information leaflets
- Grant towards running family accommodation for sick children (Ronald McDonald House)
Featured Project: MITRE Rehabilitation Unit (MRU)
The MITRE Rehabilitation Unit is one of the largest dedicated physiotherapy facilities in the NHS and contains the largest Sports Medicine facility in the UK.
The 40,000ft 2 MRU incorporates a physiotherapy and sports medicine gym, hydrotherapy pool, spinal care unit, and administration offices.
