The MITRE Trust was approached by the Radiology department of Musgrave Park Hospital to donate half the funds needed for the refurbishment of the department’s x-ray training room. The room accommodates multi-disciplinary team meetings, particularly those in relation to orthopaedic sarcoma. Teleconferencing facilities were installed, and the area is used for training sessions for colleagues who are based on and off site. The room is a welcome addition to the department.
